Alexia Grants

The Alexia is a photography and visual storytelling program at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. For more than three decades, its grants have supported student and professional visual communicators working on projects that address socially significant issues, deepen cultural understanding, and inspire meaningful change. The program places unusual weight on the idea behind a project—not simply on photographic execution.

The Alexia offers grants for professional and student photographers and filmmakers to produce substantial bodies of work.
