A specification sheet tells you what a lens is. It doesn't tell you why collectors want it - the production run that lasted six months, the recall nobody remembers, the inexpensive lens that quietly embarrassed a much more expensive one. If I can't verify a claim, it doesn't run. I'd rather cut a good paragraph than get a fact wrong.
